The GTA SA mods allow players to discover fresh new elements and adventures, making for a refreshing, ever-changing game. The GTA San Andreas mods have allowed those playing the game to find thousands of new ways to enjoy it. It currently has 27.5 million as of 2021.Īlthough this worldwide popular game might have kept gamers playing because of the countless things to do, modifications (mods) have been an underlying factor in its timelessness. As of 2008 the game raked in 9.43 million units claiming the number one best-selling game title. The game (now considered to be a classic) is known as one of the bestselling video games of all time. But then again, this is Take-Two we’re talking about.Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (GTA: SA) is a video game developed by Rockstar Games, released on the platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Mac, iOS, PS2, Android, Xbox, Kindle, Windows, and on the Phone. It’s not a remake or a remaster in a different game/engine. I mean, the company has not taken down its previous version, and this is simply a graphical mod and nothing more. Theoretically speaking, Take-Two will not take it down. In order to showcase the improvements that this mod brings to the table, the modder also released the following video. We also suggest using this AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack. Until then, you can go ahead and download its previous version. Still, Makarus plans to release the mod to the public once it hits a more stable /final version.

Unfortunately, this beta build is behind a Patreon wall. Additionally, it packs some lighting tweaks and improvements. SA_DirectX 3.0 Beta adds new Reflections (SSR), Volumetric Clouds, Screen Space Reflections, SSAO, GodRays and Rain drops.

And earlier this week, modder ‘Makarus’ released a brand new beta version of it. In August 2018, we informed you about a graphical overhaul mod for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, SA_DirectX 2.0.
